Celestine's POV

"What the hell is going on here?!" A loud thunderous voice booms from behind us.

Lorenzo quickly moves away from me but it's already too late because Cade is standing at the entrance of the kitchen with his face a shade of bright red. He had seen everything.

He wasn't supposed to be home at this time. What is he doing here?

"Did you two think you could fool me?" He drops his suitcase to the floor and walks over to where we are, standing in front of us. "Do you think I'm an idiot? I knew you two would try to go behind my back but I held out hope thinking that you would both do the sensible thing." He scoffs. "At the end of the day, you're just two idiots ready to throw away their future. And for what? Sex!" His face is a shade darker now and spit flies out with his words.
