Five years later

Lorenzo's POV

I'm not going to lie and say that these past few years weren't the hardest years of my life. There were.

And there were times when I felt like giving up and calling it quit. Times when I felt like going back and groveling at my father's feet for his forgiveness. But anytime I felt that way, all I just had to do was look beside me and stare at Celestine, and wonder if I'm willing to give her away.

The answer was always no. Every single time.

Now, I'm glad as fuck that I didn't give up. Because I wouldn't be here if I did. I would have been locked away in an office, running a company I didn't want.

“This is insane.” Celestine spins around the gallery, her hands stretched out. She bumps into a lady passing and I can't help but chuckle as she mumbles an apology and walks back to me. “I can’t believe this." She looks around.
