Celestine's POV

I'm meeting Eve at a restaurant for our date and as soon as I walk in, I spot her. Her platinum blond hair can easily be spotted in any crowd. She is sitting at a window seat overlooking the busy street of New York.

As if sensing my presence, she raises her head from her mobile phone to look at the entrance where she sees me standing, with tears in my eyes, one blink and they will be rolling down my cheeks. I have missed her so much. Yes, I know I'm being dramatic.

"Celestine," she screeches out, her chair squeaking against the floor as she bolts up and draws looks from the other inhabitants of the coffee shop but Eve being Eve doesn't pay them any mind.

She runs to me and grabs me into a bone-crushing hug. Do we stay like that for a minute? 5 minutes? An hour? I have no idea.

Finally pulling away from each other she drags me by the arm to the window seat."I missed you," I say as soon as we're both seated, dropping my bag onto the table.
