"You... What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

"Don't worry, I have a minor heart issue, a family inheritance," he spoke and laughed. "But, would you mind fetching it for me? I can't drive and get the medicine." As Edward said this, the car began to slow down.

Clarice didn't dare to delay and immediately reached into his casual attire.

She fumbled for a while, feeling only a warm sensation in her hand, warm and comforting. Her hand moved slightly downward, and as expected, found the inner pocket. Reaching in, she found the small bottle and took it out.

"It's one, right?" She asked from memory.

"Yes." Edward had parked the car on the side of the road, picked up the water glass placed on the dashboard, and Clarice handed him a pill, watching him take it.

After taking the pill and resting for a bit, Clarice asked carefully.

"Your heart isn't well, is it?"

"Congenital, untreatable." A bitter smile crossed Edward's face. "I didn't scare you just now, did I?"
