The next two days were conventional.

We shared secrets, bonded, cracked jokes, pulled out several pranks on each other - not too nasty of course, had as little illumination as possible to keep Maisie stable, stole hot little smooches with Maisie when the others weren't looking, for privacy's sake, buried Buster - their now late golden retriever, and ate pizza, too much of it but amidst all this, Russel was behaving queer. Was it about two nights ago?
