Although he had heard of anaphylaxis, he never fathomed that she was grappling with such a severe allergic reaction.

His hand cautiously moved to her growing belly. Initially hesitant, he eventually placed his hand on her abdomen, tenderly caressing it.

A peculiar emotion welled up in his heart as if there was a connection between him and her child.
