Kierra's POV

I told Aden I was going to come back when I was done.

He scolded me that I lied about coming to pick something just not to return after two days.

He said he had to come to check up on me. I didn't believe him when he said Mr Anderson doesn't have a hand in his decision-making recently, that he just had so much on his plate.

That was a lie. Why was Aden concerned about what Mr Anderson thought? He is Alpha for crying out loud. He doesn't need Mr Anderson to watch his back every minute. He isn't his father for crying out loud. Even if he was there all these years to assist young Aden with overseeing the affairs of the business and other matters, Aden was now an Adult.
