Phoebe

There is a white albino crow watching me from the tree outside the window. Its eyes are too intelligent to belong to a simple bird, and my heart races. Could it be Adrian? He had the power to turn into different animals and stop time. It would make sense that he is watching me - after our last meeting, I’m sure he is more than curious about me.

I sigh and look at my professor. She is talking about how to use art to express ourselves. Her hands are in the air, and she is so into her speech that she won’t notice if I just open the window...I hope. Ugh, maybe I should wait until this class is over, but the question is if Adrian will remain outside.

My eyes travel to the white albino crow again. Whenever Adrian turns into an animal, it ends up white like his wolf’s fur, and now that he has taken an innocent life, his eyes are red. So this is definitely Adrian, right?

I keep studying the huge crow. It’s picking its feathers, but fix one bright eye on me. It seems to be waiting.
