Part 44 # Change of Plans

The Oldtown Alley in the capital city was shrouded in the darkness of the night, with the dim moon failing to illuminate the increasingly obscure sky.

Inside the headquarters of the X merchants, a mysterious girl sat in silence with her eyes focused on her computer screen.

With intense concentration, her fingers danced gracefully across the keyboard, generating lines of code that darkened the screen before her.

Several times, she typed commands skillfully but had yet to achieve the optimal outcome of their efforts.

"Damn it!" she muttered in frustration, the girl being a seasoned hacker preparing for her cyber attack.

Usually, she always succeeded in accomplishing her tasks, but this time, the job seemed exceedingly challenging due to the complex security system.

"I will break this sturdy security system," she mumbled, annoyed and determined. Her voice was conviction-filled, like a dark magic filling the silence.
