Part 48 # Unveiling Schemes

Arren and Leon finally returned to the mansion after a stressful day.

Their arrival was welcomed by loyal servants who were relieved to see them safe.

Warmth and relief filled the atmosphere inside the grand mansion. Arren and Leon could finally rest in peace.

Arren appeared to be sound asleep in Leon's embrace. Her husband gently carried her to the bed, carefully laying her down. He had already removed her clothes and shoes.

Arren looked comfortable, though she hadn't cleaned herself yet. She continued to sleep, although she woke up briefly.

"No one will hurt you again, Arren. I'm here for you," Leon said softly, embracing her with love.

Leon then fell asleep beside Arren, relieved. He vowed never to let Arren go through something like this again.

Leon also swore to deal firmly and coldly with the traitor who had harmed his family the next day.

"Bring her here!" Leon ordered the head of security.

"Very well, Sir!" The burly man immediately went to the west pavilion, where Vennina was.
