Chapter 106.

Blair's POV

I was still crying when I heard a knock on my window. I was so surprised to see Sandra, motioning for me to wind down the glass. Instead of whining down, I opened the door and got out of the car.

“What did you want?!” I yelled at her.

“Well, I’m here to apologize to you. I and Thomas love each other and you know, our love story was more like fate,” she said, sounding so insincere. Instead of replying to her, I angrily slapped her across the face.

The world spun for a moment as my hand met Sandra's cheek with a stinging crack. The insincerity dripping from her apology was too much to bear. Tears welled up again, a mix of fury and fresh hurt.

She reeled back, hand flying to her reddening face, eyes wide with shock. The picture of fake innocence on her face shattered in an instant.

"Don't you dare try to play the victim here, Sandra," I spat, my voice laced with venom.
