Amelia’s POV

Taking a deep breath, I reentered the mansion. The grandness of the surroundings now carried a weight of responsibility, but I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of it all.

As I explored the house, familiarizing myself with its various rooms and corridors, I couldn't shake off the thoughts of Eddie and the unexpected turns life had taken. My mind spun between memories of our shared dreams and the new reality I found myself in.
