Jameson's Point Of View.

We drove into the Pack in my car. It was late at night and everywhere was quiet. I pulled the car to a halt, and we sat in the car for a second before I broke the silence.

“Is there anywhere we can pass the night? We'll find her in the morning.”

“Sure. My house is just a few blocks away, I'm sure my grandma would mind having you around.”

I nodded my head, ignited the car and drove further according to her directions. We stopped in front of an old house, the lights were out and it felt awkwardly silent. We got out of the car, and she made to walk into the house.

“Don't you think it's strange?” She turned back to me. “Or has your house been like this always? This quiet and dark?”

She turned back to the house and stared for a few seconds and walked back to where I was, leaned on the car.

“What do you think, Jameson? It really does feel strange. Mrs. Elise never sleeps with the light off.”

“Then, let's go find out. You just have to be careful.” I turned to her
