Red POV

“Maven,” Felix said, smiling widely. Who is she? Why does she bear this much resemblance to my mom? Felix stood up, running towards her. He hugged her tightly, her head on his chest.

“I’ve missed you so much,” she said, hugging him back.

“Me too; you left for so long; don’t do it again,” he said, pulling back. I sat there, just looking at them. Aurelian stood up, walking to her, and he hugged her warmly. I don’t know their relationship, but the hug was warm and comfortable. But she pulled back, glaring at him.

“What is she doing here, father?” she snapped. My mouth hung open.

“Father?” Adrian and I said it at the same time. Father? He has a child! Way older than me!

“You know I can’t tell her to leave,” he said.
