Chapter 24

Red POV

Liam and I walked out of my room; it was evening, and it was time for him to leave as we had been sleeping. We got to the living room, and they were all here. By all, I mean Aurelian, Maven, Felix, and Rodney. They looked at Liam, shocked and surprised.

“Who is he?” Maven asked.

“Good evening, your majesties; I am Liam,” he answered, bowing his head a bit. They all looked at him, not saying anything; well, they all looked except Aurelian, and I looked at him, expecting something from him, anything. But instead, he stood up and walked out. My eyes watered instantly as I tried to blink it in.

“So this is, um, your mate?” Maven asked. I nodded my head empty, and I could tell Liam was happy.

“We will take our leave now,” I said, dragging him off. We didn’t exchange words, and we just kept on walking, not saying anything. We walked farther from the hotel, and he stopped.

“I will take my leave from here,” he said. I looked up at him, nodding my head.

“See you later,” I said, smiling
