"Oh my god, this is happening but it's so soon." Am I thinking this loudly or saying this loudly?

I am saying this but how can I? They will know it is me.

I am the daughter of Alpha Blaze and Luna Fairy. My mother is a witch and my father is the Alpha of the Black Shadow Pack. My surname is Fortin. My name is Aloisa Fortin, and I am 17 years old. As a teen, I was arrogant, cruel, full of life, and stubborn. I have some power that I don't know how to use but my mother always says that 'you with magic is a disaster.' I know why she said this. They all hope that one day the curse will be lifted off our shoulders so that we can all live longer lives.

My family has a prophecy that 'When the Alpha and the Witch create a girl child and marry the enemy Alpha, will the curse lift if he truly gives his heart to her?'

This is not in my hands, right? I am not sure whether my enemy wants to mate with me or not. It is not my choice it is what the moon goddess has decided for us.

Every generation of half-hybrids, like myself, waits for that moment when they turn 18, but until that time we are all unsuccessful.

My entire family, my Father's family as well as my Mother's family, is waiting for this day.

But how can I believe this nonsense?

Our curse is a short life span. We can only reach 47 years of age and no one can live beyond that.

My mother's family lasted for 48 years because of magic. A wolf, on the other hand, can live for 100 and 100 years.

My father is 44 now and they all want to hurry the process. They tried to do something on my birthday which is next month. Therefore, they are all doing magic, rituals, and preparing so that this will be successful. They are all praying to the moon goddess to bless them, but is that possible?

"Mom, what is going on? It is so soon" I ask my mother.

"Dear Allie, you know this is going to happen, why do you act so nervous?" My mom asks with a roll of the eyes.

"Oh mom, I am not ready for this, to please some random wolf " my mom stared at me angrily.

My response was, "Okay okay, I won't say anything; I understand that we are doing this for the whole family to live a longer life."

But seriously I don't believe in this and I don't want to lose my dad. Therefore, I will support this but my heart is not in this because all previous attempts were unsuccessful.

On my birthday when I shift at midnight I need to run to our enemy territory until I find my mate or I will return the next day.

The problem here is that whoever runs into enemy territory either dies or returns injured.

They want to sacrifice me. They know that I can die in that place, but they still send me.

I was thinking about this and passing by the storeroom. When I was passing I heard some noises from the room as if something had just fallen on the ground. Therefore, I peeked into the room and found my Aunt Lisa. She was whispering to someone "Shh if anybody hears us."

He said "Nah, nobody is here, everyone is performing the rituals" and he started kissing her on the lips. Lisa tried to free herself from the fear that someone would see them together, but she also wanted to kiss him with the same intensity.

He was touching her left blossom very roughly and I started to feel something in my stomach.

"Oh my," I said unknowingly and they stopped.

You foolish girl, you said this loudly. We stared at each other for a second and I ran away.

When I reached my room I locked the door and sighed very loudly. I fell on my bed and my mind started to wonder, 'what just happened? Lisa and Gamma Richard and their kiss, that passionate kiss.' It makes me wonder what it will feel like to be kissed passionately.' Hmmmm my mouth watered just thinking about this.

Will Alpha Sioux love me the same way? Nobody has ever touched me like this. Of course, I am a virgin and these things are not on my list because I already know my future.
