“She is, Bryson,” the voice of the Gamma stretched to us from a distance. All eyes turned to him. I dropped my head to the floor, itching to be out of everyone’s gaze. We were now set to leave at noon. The snow has dispersed, leaving dews on the flowers. The sun crept to the surface, piercing its soft shaft on the pack house.
