CHAPTER 39

RUBY’S POV

Just as I expected, Clarissa lost her shit and freaked out beyond measure when I told her about what happened between me and Dax in detail.

She was curious to know why I was back so late when all we wanted to do was talk but I knew I couldn't lie. My gone lipstick and almost ruffled hair were definitely going to give me away.

So I told her the truth and also confessed about the first time we kissed at the club to her too and I had to snap my fingers in her face twice to pull her out of her shocked reverie by the time I was done talking.

“I am so fucking speechless. Oh my God, Ruby! Dax went down on you?” she shrieked and I placed my hand over her mouth to stop her from yelling because Sally was already deep asleep in her room.

“You’re yelling and it could wake Sally up” I whispered sternly and her eyes widened in realization before she nodded and pulled my hand away from her mouth.
