I prayed silently for the day not to end, and even if it were a dream, I would gladly remain in this dreamland. There was soft music playing in the background, and the atmosphere was just soothing. The chauffeur took our orders, and a few minutes later he appeared with plates. These days I don't feel like a princess locked away in a mansion anymore, but I feel like the center of Mace's world.I guess some are just so lucky, and I am among the lucky ones. The dinner ended a few hours later, and I was so glad that it ended on a good note. I kept wondering what he was hiding from and why he didn't want anyone to know that he was present on the day that I was nearly attacked by those men.
