Chapter Thirty-Seven

I rolled my eyes at him and zoomed off. He was just so full of himself, that I looked through the rear mirror to make sure he wasn't following me. The last thing I want is a handsome stalker, I sighed in relief when I didn't see his car behind me. I made a mental note to grab some hangover soup ingredients for the party girls. I guess they partied pretty hard yesterday night.

I got home to meet Sasha in the sitting room, still lying down with the curtains closed. The whole place was reeking of something awkward and stuffy. I dropped what I bought at the kitchen counter and came right back to the sitting room. I pulled open the curtains, and the sunlight found its way into the room.

"Ouch, that hurts!" Sasha screamed, rolling over to hide from the sun

"Are you a vampire? The room is way too dark, for heaven's sake," I snapped at her.

"Where the heck is Grace and Karen? I asked Sasha while looking around the room to see if I could get a glimpse of them.
