I sat on the floor of the toilet and stuffed my fist into my mouth, screaming till my lungs felt raw. Everything happening was beginning to take a toll on me.

I'd lost track of the reason why I was back here, in Nightshade pack, in the first place —to have my revenge on Ryder.

Now, I'm saddled with unwanted feelings and dead animals appearing in my bed. I was letting Ryder affect me. I was letting him get to my head and body.

I shuddered, shaking off the memories that threatened to cloud my mind.

I stopped screaming and began to laugh. I hear the madness in it.

I didn't care.

I was already mad thinking I could live a lie. I knew sooner or later, I would have to accept the truth. It was useless fighting it.
