Chapter 3 Milly's Pregnant

Milly is currently caring for her mother, who is in the hospital, one month after the tragedy in the hotel room. They were observed lightly conversing. Milly felt her head throbbing and her stomach twisting all at once. She felt compelled to puke everything in her stomach. She also chose not to make a sound in front of her mother and instead went to the bathroom for a while. The girl immediately ran to the bathroom and tried to spit out her stomach contents, because Milly was feeling very nauseous at the time.

However, sadly, nothing came out of her mouth. She puked numerous times, leaving Milly stunned. The girl glanced in the mirror, pensively. It was as if she was asking herself a question.

"Wait! I've needed to vomit three times now. I'm also achy and have a bad headache. What is going on with me?" Milly inquired as she examined her reflection in the mirror. She was apprehensive and terrified because something had just occurred to her.

Milly's hands were chilly, and her heart was racing. She had to confirm one notion that had occurred to her. The young lady dashed out of the restroom. Milly asked her mother for permission to go out for a while, saying she was going to buy something. Milly ended up going to the pharmacy. She purchased several tests.

Although her heart was scared, she didn't want her anxieties to follow her.

After arriving at the hospital, the girl went straight to the restroom. She purposefully used a public restroom so her mother wouldn't become suspicious. Millu also tested her pee quickly using a bought speak. Milly's heart was racing as she waited for the line to turn. She was terrified and worried all at the same time, which made her hands and feet feel chilly as if they had been scalded with ice.

She picked up the task a few minutes later and fell limp on the toilet floor as she saw two lines printed there. Milly was expecting a child.

A clear liquid poured forth and soaked her face. This was a blunder she didn't want to make. Milly had a brief moment of regret. Yet everything had changed, and she was now unsure what to do with the baby in her belly. The girl stood up, attempting to be tough and robust while searching for the best solution to her dilemma. One thing was certain: she couldn't tell her mother because it would jeopardize her mother's recovery.

A middle-aged woman was observing her as she exited the restroom. Rebecca was her name. Arthur's mother's name.

Rebecca has been purposefully learning about Milly over the last few days. Rebecca was shocked to learn that Arthur had broken up with Agatha because of the event at the hotel involving a girl named Milly. Rebecca's heart was filled with joy since Agatha and Arthur stopped their relationship without her interference.

The middle-aged lady had always been critical of their relationship. But she also didn't want Arthur to despise her for attempting to destroy her son's connection with Agatha.

But who would have guessed? Agatha, it seems out, dug her own grave until their connection came to a halt. Rebbeca approached Milly, who was seated on the waiting bench with the task in her hand, without hesitation. Milly didn't realize she was holding the type out of the bathroom because she was too astonished. Thankfully, there were few people along the corridor, so no one caused a scene.

She sat sluggishly, staring at the flat item. The tension was crushing her chest, and her mind came to a halt as she faced this fact. Milly believed that God was messing with her fate. Instead, a fetus was there at a time when she was battling to fight for her mother's recovery.

"Why are you sad?" Rebecca inquired, unexpectedly standing in front of Milly. She quickly hid the thespian in her hand, a fake smile on her face.

"Oh, Mistress. I'm perfectly alright," Milly responded, embarrassed.

Rebecca grinned at the girl's flushed cheeks. The middle-aged woman sat next to the girl, taking responsibility for her wait.

"Are you pregnant?" Rebbeca inquired, immobilizing Milly. Rebecca appeared to have noticed her action.

Milly remained mute as she looked down. Soon after, she nodded her head, admitting that everything Rebecca asked was true.

"I am, indeed, pregnant."

"So why are you sad?" Rebecca inquired. She sought to get information from the girl next to her.

"I'm at a loss on what to do about this pregnancy. Because this fetus arrived at an inopportune time. I didn't expect him to be born into this world, either." Rebecca gasped as Milly continued regretfully. Milly's decision took the middle-aged woman by surprise. Even though her granddaughter was in the girl's stomach.

"Why do you think that way? You are free to marry the father of my future child. Isn't that a gift worth preserving?" Rebecca inquired.

Milly cynically chuckled at the middle-aged woman's question. If Milly had met the perfect man and spent the night with the one she loved at the time, she might have asked him to marry her as well. Yet this was a different story, and it was far from what she had expected.

"I can't do that," Milly remarked.

"Why?" Rebecca inquired, still trying to elicit information from the girl.

"Because I don't love him, and his father doesn't love me either. As a result, we can't be together. He also will not accept this baby because everything that happened was an error." Milly responded with a shaky voice and obvious sadness.

Rebecca held her breath as she realized this was a sad reality. The middle-aged man, on the other hand, desired the child in the womb because it was his grandchild. She had been longing for children. Rebecca remained silent because she had yet to announce herself as Arthur's mother. As Milly had to return to her mother's ward, their chat came to an end.

Arthur was swamped with work at the workplace. At this same time, his secretary walked in and informed him that Agatha wanted to see him. The man groaned angrily as he kicked his desk, startling the secretary and making her glance down in terror.

"I told you not to let her in here. Simply tell her I don't want to see her anymore and to stop calling!"

"Sir, yes. Miss Agatha, on the other hand, is waiting outside."

Arthur rubbed his sore temples. He believed that if he ended his relationship with Agatha, everything would be over. Yet she kept chasing him and disrupting his day, which irritated Arthur.

"Then contact security. Make her leave. I don't want to see her again, no matter what. Please hurry!" Arthur stated unequivocally.

Finally, the secretary left. Arthur reclined back in his enormous chair, staring at the office ceiling. It was obvious that what Agatha had done a month before had been a huge mistake. He chose to discontinue the connection since Agatha had gone too far in allowing her to become engaged.

Arthur tried to concentrate on his task, but this is what happened. Agatha pursued him and disrupted his daily life. Arthur was occasionally irritated with himself for having to deal with her.

Arthur grumbled as he heard a knock on the door. He was about to reprimand the person on the other side of the door because he mistook her for his secretary. Rebecca turned proved to be the culprit. The man suppressed the harsh remarks ready to be uttered and inquired as to why his mother was present.

"I've met the woman, Arthur. Is her name Milly?" Rebecca inquired, her face bright. Arthur sat next to his mother on the sofa.

"What's wrong, Mum?" Arthur inquired, surprised. He assumed his mother had ceased worrying him about what had happened a month before.

"She's pregnant," Rebecca said, but Arthur's heart leaped out of his chest and back into place. The man was taken aback and speechless.

"What do you mean?" Arthur inquired, causing Rebecca to sigh bitterly.

"She's pregnant with your kid," Rebecca said abruptly, clutching her son's hand hard.

"Yet she seemed to want to terminate the pregnancy," Rebecca added, making Arthur tense.

The man's emotions were conflicted as he received the news from his mother. It was surprising. Because he assumed that after that occurrence, Arthur would have nothing to do with Milly. But who would have guessed? God revealed his seed in Milly's womb, which Rebecca was now anticipating.

"Arthur, I want Milly's unborn child. I desperately want grandchildren. So, are you going to marry Milly?" Rebbeca persuaded them.

"Invite her to marry you. Please," Rebecca spoke with a hopeful tone and a begging expression on her face.

Arthur remained silent. He considered how it would go for a time. If he married Millu, even though the man did not love the girl. But Arthur had another thought as well. Right now, he was bothered by Agatha's visit and her desire to rekindle their relationship. Arthur reasoned that he might avoid Agatha by using Milly. It may appear sinister, but given that her mother has sent her grandchildren, it would be an intriguing and mutually advantageous strategy.

"That's fine, Mom. I'll attempt to speak with Milly." Arthur finally made his decision. Will Milly listen to Arthur's reasoning?
