Lucy's pov;

Daniel, "The doctor said Tyler will wake up in a little bit," he said softly as he took a seat beside me in the waiting room. He lifted my chin to make me look at him directly and smiled. "Don't worry, he'll be fine. He just needs to rest to get back on his feet."

I tried to smile back, but it looked more like a grimace. My eyes are still swollen and my head still hurts, so it's hard to focus properly. He wiped my cheeks saying something about how they're getting redder, even though I've been wiping them for the past three hours. The skin under my eyes is raw from crying all day long.

"I'm going to tell him."

He retreated his hands asking, "What are

you gonna tell him?"

"The reason I married him. I'm going to tell him everything."

"Tell him what?" He asked again like he didn't hear what I said earlier.

"That I married him to get his company's confidential information." My eyes widened as soon as I realised what I was thinking. But my mouth wouldn't shut fast enough
