Chapter 88

Tyler's POV;

The alarm clock went off as it always did for the same morning hour, but this time it was different. No alarm was ringing to startle me up. I woke from an uneasy dreamless sleep in a drowsy haze and stretched himself out into the sun that shone brightly through his window. The curtains were drawn back to let the warm sunlight stream in over my bed. It took me a few seconds to remember where I was, and why the day before had been so... vivid.

I got changed and came downstairs to make breakfast but I didn't feel like eating so I made a simple breakfast of toast and peanut butter instead.

While I was eating the toast , Daniel took a seat across from me at the dining table asking, "Why didn't you prepare some eggs?"

I stared at him as if he'd grown a second head. "What?"

"Nothing." and he ate the bread in silence.

After a while, he said to me as he pushed back his chair, "Do you need anything?" and I answered no.
