Handiwork of fate

When Alvin woke up, it was already morning. He stretched on the bed and his hands moved around to find his phone.

He had a strange pain in his head, like there was a speaker playing repeated loud beats in there.

After several attempts, Alvin realised his phone wasn't on the bed with him. Then suddenly, he got up when he remembered what happened the night before and the fact that he wasn't on his bed at home.

Nora had completely slept-off right after saying “his face wasn't cursed ”. And he was so shocked and paralysed that he decided to wait in the room until she woke up and explain to him who she really was; and also how she knew the state he was in.

Alvin looked around the room. She wasn't there.

He sighed. “Maybe she left.“

Alvin jumped off the bed and saw that he was still in yesterday's clothes. How he got in the bed even after a drunk temptation was sleeping there was a mystery to him.

“She couldn't possibly have left yet,” Alvin muttered, looking around to find
