One condition

I was outside the house, sunbathing on a rocking chair with my sunglasses on.

I could hear the low chirping of birds in the tall trees at the end of the street. The breeze was cool and just perfect enough for every normal September.

The only clothes I had on were some short revealing tops and an equally short Khaki pants which stopped just below my buttocks.

I was comfortable with the way I rested my back—more comfortable than all my life put together.

But something was bothering me. I had gone on a short work tour to Hollywood to discuss my starring in a new Reality TV show last night but came back to see the house empty.

I knocked on Nora's door and eventually went into her room since it wasn't locked but I couldn't find her. Something in my mind told me her sudden change of attitude was because of the woman who visited—a woman who was supposed to be “her mother” by the way.
