Rayne's POV

For a very long time, the only thing I knew about myself was the fact that I was destined to be a Luna, even though I was the offspring of Omegas. To many, it was a great honor, but to me, it became a burden.

I never got to meet or see the Priestess that started the prophecy, but many said that she had gone insane shortly before she died, but was powerful enough for her words to hold credibility. That was why her words haunted me for so long, even after her supposed death.

Right from the cradle, my destiny had been determined.

Once, I believed in it, but was a prophecy meant to bring a person so much suffering? For three years of supposedly walking in line with it, and all I saw was how brutal people could be with their words and actions. My life nearly got snatched away because of it.

What could Victor possibly have known about me?

Curiosity nibbled at me for days. While I went about trying to find clues, or was focusing on ignoring Kaiden, or just simply went about my
