Chapter Seventy One

ARIA POV

I went back to bed and pulled the covers over my head. I felt someone tug me in then the three brothers walked out of the room.

Later that day, maids brought different kinds of delicacies to the infirmary and Darius and Killian stayed to watch me eat.

My eyes were shut but I wasn't asleep. I was forcing myself to go back to sleep but I couldn't. My thoughts kept wandering around and I couldn't stop it.

I thought that if I just remain in the same position for a long time, I might fall asleep without knowing.

Twenty minutes later, I felt a gush of wind on my face, when it settled down, my nostrils were filled with Marcus' scent.

I wonder what he was doing here, what was he trying to do? Is he going to kill me so Lauren is spared?
