My heart thudded madly in my chest as I followed an unsuspecting Vincent out of the pack house. I made sure to keep my distance and hide each time he looked behind him. It was not an easy task but I was determined to follow him to wherever he was going. I thought he was acting strange. Nonetheless, his strange behavior was worsening and I could no longer sit back and do nothing. I knew for a fact that the blue pill had something to do with his recent behaviors. Thinking about how he'd beaten Jared to a pulp made me shiver. The look in his eyes had been nothing short of terrifying. The eyes I'd seen were the eyes of a blood thirsty, rage filled monster. When he had snapped out of it, he had looked guilty. He didn't seem surprised. It meant that there was more to it. He was well aware of the factor responsible for his loss of self control.

Ava and Emma had taken Jared to the infirmary. Zeke had encouraged me to go after Vincent. It was a big risk that I was willing to take.
