Chapter 30

Hazel’s POV

I couldn't remember how long I was out. All I could remeber was that I was laying on Jasper's knees and he was stroking my hair. My eyes fluttered open and I looked at him. He looked scared and relieved at the same time.

"Hazel, thank God. I was worried. What happened to you? Are you okay?"

I sat up. We were now sitting on the bleachers of the football pitch. The pitch was empty and the sun had gone down a little. It was quite close to disappearing over the horizon.

"How long was out?"

"Almost thirty minutes. Are you sure that you are alright? "

I tried to stand up but he pulled me to sit back down.

"Hazel, no, you need to rest. Sit. I got you some water. Drink. Do you need an aspirin or something? I have a few in my bag."

He began to rummage through his bag but I stopped him.

"No need for the aspirin. I'm fine. I would like some water though."

He passed me the bottle of water and I took a long and big gulp. I really needed it. My lips were parched.
