Chapter 31

Hazel's POV

My heart stopped and I stared from Jasper to Logan and back. This was bad, really bad. Neither of them loosened their grip and they pulled slightly harder like I was a rope in a dangerous game of tug-of-war. They could rip my arms right off.

Logan scoffed and gave Jasper a threatening faux smile.

"You know something Jasper. You really think that you are something, don't you? Taking my spot on the football team, going out with 'my girl'. You have some nerve."

Jasper was silent but the tension in his aura was foreboding. I could feel heat building around him and a tiny glint in his eyes. His wolf was awakened.

"I am going to say this and say this once. Let go of her Logan. I'm warning you."

He spoke under his breath, staring into Logan's soul but he was defiant.

Suddenly, Logan yanked me harder and I was torn away from Jasper's grip. I felt heart plummet as I saw the fury on Jasper's face as I was pulled away from him outside the restaurant with people staring at me. I strugg
