Chapter 37

Hazel’s POV

When we arrive at the seer's place I wonder how this man was going to help me. I wasn't sure if I could call it a house or a shed, but it was made of wood that creaked loudly when I ascended the front porch.

I turn and Logan pokes his head outside, giving me a thumbs up. Should that count as a reassurance?

The door opened immediately I raised my hand to knock. " Come in." A weird-looking man with shaggy hair whom I guessed was the seer said.

I took a second glance at Logan's car before entering the house.

It was surprisingly clean, however, ancient furniture adorned the room, tooth of animals were hung in strategic places which caused the hair on my nape to rise. " Please have your seat, Hazel." He motioned to a stool a few feet away, I walked towards it slowly.

" You are safe here, Hazel." He said and I plopped on the chair, not wanting to come across as snobbish.

How did he know my name? I wondered. Logan might have told him, I concluded. " I came to..."
