Lorena's POV

"I am so happy for you, Lorena." Hazel said with a big smile on her face. "I know you will do a great job."

I was beaming.

"How was your visit with the seer? Did he say what was wrong with you? Does he know how to fix it?"

Hazel was silent and casted a quick glance at Kaya and I immediately knew that she didn't want to talk about it in front of her.

"Ohhhh. Sure. We can talk later," I said, withdrawing my question.

"Thanks Lorena. I guess I'll leave you two to work. Bye Kaya."

Soon we were alone again and Kaya was hard at work with her homework. She was a brilliant girl and was just as sweet and well behaved. I could only imagine why her previous nanny chose to neglect her. She was probably just a knock off that got off under the guise of a nanny to infiltrate people's home and steal things.
