127. Cell, needle, and what?

“Wait,” Emeric said as I decided to start making my way down the stairs, hoping not to fall and break my ass or worse, and I turned to face him.

Emeric held out some type and a bandage, I saw he had already taken care of his own palm. “You need to wrap that, no need in drawing in things we don’t want,”

“Oh,” Stepping back up the few stairs and finally meeting his presence, I held out my palm and let him do his thing; his words echoed into my head.

Not people or monsters or demons, but things.

What the hell was I getting myself and my unborn baby into?

It was odd to think like that, odd to realize I was putting my baby -our baby- in danger but I had to do this. I had to save my love, my father to my baby, my mate. I didn’t know what kind of danger he was in but there was something; something was a matter. Just didn’t know what.

I agree that it would be nice to finish a book under contract before putting it out. Let readers knoe if the story has ended.

it'd be nice if one is under contract to finish a book before starting new projects if they have done so

Will this story ever be finished? Quite frustrating to spend money to purchase chapters as you go only to have all progress come to a standstill.
