129. I intend to Save

The golden rays glimmered off my dirty hands, the warmth welcoming me and washing over my body just as the morning dew had done to the variety of plants I looked out on just a few moments ago; there were a few small clouds in the sky, a slight breeze hugging me.

A bird, maybe a swallow, sang a sweet song not so far away from me as I found a boulder to sit down on for a quick moment as I caught my breath and gave my feet a moment of rest; closing my eyes, I let the quietness surround me.

A butterfly flapped its wings, working hard to get pollen, my ears catching the light and ‘dum dump’ sound.

Wildflowers from somewhere drifted with the wind, dancing into my nostrils and relaxing my brain.

“Goddess,” I cringed at the voice, my mood instantly dampening with the sound. “I would kill for some Arby’s right now, damn,”

“I bet Emrys would too,” I scoffed and took in a deep breath, readying myself for the climbing of this mountain; driving would tip off not only people of the kingdom but a
