133. Awakening

Emrys held my hand after all my tests for the night were done; it was about three in the morning now and together, Emrys and I laid on the hospital bed. Outside, lanterns lit up an orange hue as it was snowing and I still couldn’t believe I had been asleep for months.

When I had gone into my coma, I guess the doctors thought it would only be a week long and were happy about it due to my leg being broken, among many other scratches and bruises; but when I just kept sleeping, they had gotten scared. No one was sure if the Luna Knight was gonna see the light of day again…

Word had seemingly gotten out about the loss of our baby too because flowers among flowers piled into the room, many fresh, and my heart bled for all those that cared; I wished I had been awake to thank everyone.
