Chapter Six

The next morning I woke up in my bed with a horrible hangover and let out a loud groan. I was in no mood to head to work and just wanted to sleep in. I rolled over and picked up my phone from the bedside table and found a dozen of texts from Theo and one from Grace. I opened her text first in my sleepy daze.

'Sorry about yesterday. Hope you didn't feel awkward.' - Grace.

What the hell?

It was like she was trying to rub it in my face. I took a deep breath reminding myself that I had no right to feel this way at all. They were dating and people who date are allowed to kiss. I shook my head and opened his texts which went like this,

'Where are you?'

'Did you get home safe?'

'God, woman! Pick up your phone.'

That text made me laugh for some reason and I started to type him a reply.
