Chapter sixty-three

"You should be grateful you didn't have a miscarriage." Lola's voice echoed through me like a resonance.

"I'm not sure if I should be happy or not," I replied my eyes swollen from the pool of tears that had soaked them earlier,

"Children are blessings from the goddess, and you shouldn't worry and as it seems when two people are fated for one another they begin to have children." Her eyes were hatched onto mine absorbing my every reaction. Her voice had my shoulders tensing.

"Why shouldn't I, Andrea practically made it obvious he doesn't want me; us." I wanted Lola's kind words to change how I feel about Andrea and the baby I did.

It was clear she cared about him and there were times they both were like each other's guardian, only after swallowing bile and fragmented guilt was I able to see there was nothing but enemies, considering the fact she betrayed him. Their relationship was odd.
