Chapter two

"Has the treaty been finalised?" He said looking at his beta. They had come in packs and whatever.

"Absolutely Alpha, the merchants should be here tonight."

"But we still have to meet with the sunju pack tonight." He furthered.

"Alpha, what about her?" He said, directing his gaze at me. My hands were cuffed, like some sort of slave, did my mate just adopt me?

"She's with me." He said as he dragged me closer to him,

"Stay still," he whispered into my ears, I was in denial, never had I thought werewolves were this plentiful, I was regarded as a lymph and here I am an alpha mate. My stepmom had always told me, ' you're weak and can never be an omega.'

"Do you think I won't know you're a wolf?" He whispered again.

"I'm not a wolf, and neither am I your mate." Whatever brought me to Vienna led me to my ruin, I wanted to let out a loud outcry.

Andrea didn't mind me, he just dragged me along with him, he was gentle and I could tell from the way he tended to me.

"Where are we going?" I asked like I was feasting on his patience, we just stayed quiet throughout the walk.

"I'm tired, my leg is hurting,"  I mumbled.

He bent over and helped lace my shoe. "You're weak and untrained."

"Which pack did you come from, mate." He said and I couldn't deny him, but I pressured my wolf to stop being overly excited.

"I'm not your mat-" He sealed my lips with another kiss and I twitched inside.

"What do you think you're doing?" I pushed him from me.

"I'll carry you then…" he bent over for me to climb but I shrugged it off.

"I can walk."

"climb." I felt command in his voice and I just simply did as he said.

My wolf whispered, "what is wrong with him?"

I leaned over and rested my head on his shoulder, a feeling of serenity as we walked through the woods. My wolf had never been calm, "could he be my mate?"

I wondered, we came to a halt and I raised my head from his shoulder where they sank taking in all his scents.

Beyond the woods lies a small cabin, and with campfires everywhere, Aloha Andrea asked me to come down, and with the Alpha command in his voice, I simply obeyed.

Was he going to claim me? Why did he bring us here? The internal conflict between me and my wolf growled, and I couldn't understand why he kidnapped me. I wanted to run away but my wolf was too desperate.

"Don't do anything stupid." He cautioned, he isn't my Alpha, and I can't bring myself to obey him, but I couldn't deny that I felt a bond of friendship like every mate should.

We strolled through the village, and the packs' eyes were feasting on me and my scent. I stayed close to Alpha Andrea, we entered his mansion and a woman welcomed him, the grey hair on her head was already falling off and the wrinkles revealed she had lived longer.

"Welcome home Andrea," she said, looking to see any injury on his well-sculpted body.

"I see you've brought a guess." She said and I couldn't bring myself to the composure of answering her, I was lost in the interior decoration that surrounds us.

"And Andrea whispered something into her ears."

"I see, you're his mate." The priestess said and I was in shock, I don't want to be mated or claimed, I should have just stayed back.

She took my hand as if looking for something in it, a frown formed on her face, "when was the last time you shifted girl." Everything was happening vastly, a new world filled with werewolves, the alchemist had told me I was one of them but I never believed him.

"I shook my head left and right, in response to her."

Andrea, she called out heaving a sigh and I could feel the intensity of what ran through her mind, the look of disappointment, she's not the first to have that impression of me and I'm a disappointment that they thought, I crumbled on my leg to the barrel the was beside me,

"Get her a room." He demanded, pulling towards the old woman as they talked.

"Shall we." I waited no more as I trailed behind the worrier, we came to a door and he opened it creating a space for the petite me to pass. I bounced into the bed that was neatly dressed and set my gaze towards the half-moon that reflected through the window. I've never shifted but every full moon I feel a crackling in my bones and I can barely relate to what it feels like to be shifted into a full wolf.

Sleep wiped through my face as the breeze caressed them softly, even the motel bed was nothing compared to the softness I felt under, it was like lying in a bubble of candy.

"Go and get her down here," he was rather harsh, I mumbled sleep still wondering in my weary eyes.

I heard a knock on the door. "Alpha wants you downstairs." The man said and disappeared, I've never slept so soundly, to the extent I didn't hear the screaming sounds in my head again. I dashed into the white gown that hung beside my bed and walked as fast as I could. I came to the training field, I wanted to talk to Andrea but he ignored me like I wasn't his mate and nothing happened overnight, he didn't glance twice at me.

"You were a wolf too," I said as I stepped closer,

She threw a sword at me, "show me what you've got cunt."

"That's rather rude." I retorted, before I could blink my eyes she was already above me sword to my chest, she wanted to fight me.

"You're weak and fragile. You ain't last a day here."

"Enough!" The priestess yelled and my face met those of Andrea before throwing it away. My wolf cried out. "Get up girl."

I wanted to thank her for coming to my rescue, but she projected toward Alpha Andrea on the aisle he stood on.

I dusted myself and was surprised as she threw daggers at me.

"The Alpha has a special announcement to make."

The woman said, and a silence fell on the crowd, eagerness lurking around.

"The new Alpha of the crescent pack has decided to fulfil his duty, he is going to announce his Luna today."

I was at a pinnacle, my wolf was squirming, I wasn't ready neither was my wolf. You have to get used to your mate before claiming you, but that was not the case.

She urged the Alpha to announce himself to us,

"I've found my mate and I'll waste no time in announcing her." My heart skipped a beat.

He points in my direction as he draws the attention of the crowd to the woman that stood beside me,

Like some sort of big grace, she paraded herself in fulfilment, giving a smile to everyone, a fake smile.

"Claire Young, the future luna." The woman said as she turned her gaze from mine.

I was devastated, my wolf cried out loud, did my mate just reject me? Indifference and murmurs wandered around, I ran from the crowd to where I sniffed the scent of the leaves to relieve my wolf, I wanted to shift so badly. Why would an alpha want a weakling like me? I let out a loud yell. I had no one to cry to, standing in this shark-infested water. I did what I thought was best in this situation, escaping from it, I ran into the meadows.

Then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, "you're his mate right." I wanted a real solution for all this.

She said, ``I asked ''who are you and what do you want?" The cold hair brushed my face, it was nice except for the breeze that treated my cheek where my tears had fallen, pushing a chill through my body, it stings deep, as I felt my wolf still burning for release inside.

"You were rejected too, I feel your wolf hunting you, they don't care about mate bond, they always think they can easily reject us."

"I'm Fiona, an omega,"

"Thank you, Fiona." I felt a bit of relief talking to someone after all this was the least I thought. I felt used and discarded, Even though every bit of me wanted to scream at him and claw his handsome face out, I still love him, stupid mate bond.
