Chapter 92

Darlington's POV:

I was surprised to enter my sitting room and perceive the familiar orange scent of Amara lingering around. It seemed like she had just taken a bath.

I was surprised to see her, though. I was more than shocked to see Mrs. Zara Colton in the living room. Jenna had also phoned me and told me that she would be arriving the following week as discussed, and I was restless about it all. I didn't know what to explain to Jenna, although I had told her that Amara and I were not married. But seeing how naturally pretty Amara looked, I didn't want to let her go.

"Good evening," Amara greeted me, calming me down as I was still upset about seeing Mrs. Zara. She had actually come to discuss my marriage with my mother, and though I knew my mother hadn't informed Mrs. Zara yet that Amara was my arranged bride, the matter was still kept hidden from the Coltons' family.

Bruce had also called me for us to meet, but I didn't want to hang out with Bruce, knowing that he's also interested
