Luke was watching the scene between Vera and Aiden.

It drove him insane with jealousy.

Luke knew Aiden’s reputation.

It wasn’t as bad as his, being classed as the arrogant asshole who no one dares to cross.

Aiden was a player though. He always had a different girl. Just sleeping with them and then moving on.

He couldn’t allow Vera to be one of his prey.

Luke knew what he was going to have to do.

First, he was pleased to see that Vera wasn’t showing any interest in the guy.

But he still had to make sure that no one sees her the way he sees her.

He had a plan.

And that plan had him smiling.

He dialled the number to his secretary who was just situated outside his office. And while he was watching Vera, he asked his secretary to bring her in.

‘Yes Sir,’ the secretary says.
