Chapter 41 - Their Marriage Was a Joke

Matthew’s handsome face morphed into a terrifying look as his eyes caught sight of the pale looking woman standing by the bedside obviously in shock.

Then his eyes switched to the old man lying on the hospital bed. “If you are done punishing my wife. Arrange someone to look after you.”

He walked towards Kirsten, then held her hand. “You’re tired of looking after him the entire day.”

“Who informed you?” Kirsten asked.

“Still don't know, wife?” Matthew gently pinched her cheek.

“Ninjas!” Kirsten called the men stealthy guarding them, Ninjas.

“Let’s go,” Matthew pulled her gently but she remained in her place.

“You still wanted to look after him?” Matthew asked, raising a brow.

“No, I wouldn’t dare stay another second. I’m afraid my presence would only cause grandpa’s health to deteriorate. But make sure that someone will take care of him.”

“Alright,” Matthew nodded and went outside to make a call. A cleaner came in a minute after the couple went out.
