Aurelia's Point Of View

I had just finished eating the simple meal I was served by a maid, when I heard the familiar footsteps of Alpha Dante approaching the room. My heart skipped a beat, and I quickly wiped my hands on a cloth, trying to compose myself. As the Alpha of our pack, he commanded respect, and it was crucial to show proper deference in his presence. I straightened my back and bowed respectfully as he entered.

"Good evening, Alpha Dante," I wrote in my book and showed it to him.

He acknowledged me with a nod and a faint smile before asking, "How are you doing, Aurelia?"

I kept a small notebook and pen handy, as speaking wasn't my strong suit. I quickly scribbled a reply in neat handwriting, "I am doing well, thank you."
