Aurelia's Point Of View

I watched as Alpha Dante's coughing fit intensified, my heart pounding in my chest. I desperately wished I could ask him if he was okay, but the words wouldn't come out. Panic surged through me as I tried to comprehend what was happening. Was it the food? Did I make a mistake? I prepared it with utmost care, but doubt gnawed at me.

Danciana's sudden entrance startled me. The door swung open, and there she stood, holding a file in her hand. Danciana was always so composed, and her confidence seemed to amplify my own inadequacy. She immediately noticed Alpha Dante's distress, and her expression turned from curiosity to concern in an instant. Thank the Moon goddess, she was here.
