Chapter one hundred and eighty two

Zach’s POV

"Last time, I spared your life. Perhaps this time, I shall not be so merciful,” the fire in his hands got higher and higher as I gave a deep gasp of pain, the poison still coursing through my body.

My failing strength was trying to keep up but was failing.

A roar erupted from deep within me, a primal challenge that echoed through the entire pack. "I have grown stronger," I declared, my voice filled with my never give up spirit. "No barriers or spells can stand against the might of my otherworldly strength. Prepare to be defeated, wolf."

With lightning speed, I lunged forward, my fist aimed at his head. But the alpha wolf was no ordinary opponent.

He moved his body with effortless ease, his magical barriers shimmering to life, deflecting my blows effortlessly.

He retaliated with a blast of energy, sending me hurtling backward with a force that would have shattered the bones of a lesser being.

But I was no ordinary being.
