Chapter one hundred and fifty five

Zach’s POV

When I was done, I watched her expression go from shock to a calm one in seconds.

It was almost like she had expected it as she paced around the room while I got comfortable on her bed.

“I’m not mad at them,” she said with a tone which had me worried.

“What do you mean by that?” I asked. “They clearly ruined our relationship. If they had not used magic to confuse my wolf I would not be in this mess right now and you and I would have been married.”

“But it’s already happened,” she smiled. “I don’t see any reason to keep on holding onto a time when things could be done but it wasn’t. I hate that it’s happened but here we are.”

“It ruined our chances at getting married.”

I was mad at that, but since she didn’t care about any of that, I would let it go.
