“How do you feel being the hero of the week? You are like an angel who saved a damsel in distress” Aiden teased while I turned to him, fixing him a stern gaze.

“Wrong, I am no angel! I am the devil himself…..have you heard anything concerning Nicholas…” I took my seat while he sat on the chair across from me.

Aiden shrugged. “If you say so…..”

He continued. “I haven’t heard anything about him but the police are currently investigating the cause of Charlotte’s death”

I hissed. “What needs to be investigated? It is so evident that Nicholas must have murdered her”

Aiden shook his head. “You see cousin, that is the problem! The evidence showed that he dropped Charlotte at the airport”

I squirmed, staring intently at him. “If he drove her to the airport, then how was her body found around the ocean?”

Aiden sighed. “I am confused. I have no idea about what is happening for real. All I know is that Nicholas wouldn’t…..” He clamped his mouth shut as soon as he locked eyes wi
