Raine
He raised his hand and replied, “You are here to talk something about that slave girl, aren’t you?”
I clenched my fist and replied, “I didn’t believe you would go so low to let someone take advantage of a helpless girl. What happened to the rightful Garron, I used to know?”
He chuckled humourlessly at that. I observed the fine lines on his face and the scars on his neck.
Garron had gotten a little old and there were bags under his eyes.
“You killed him. Nobody else, you…”
He said while gritting his teeth and threw the bottle on the ground. Luckily, I caught it but it hit the floor nonetheless and the corner shattered.
