Madeleine
“I always knew that Hayden was cheeky, but to turn people over to join his pack…hmm...that’s interesting. As long as he steers away from my pack, I shouldn’t really have a problem.”
He replied and I merely blinked. Why was he being so calm about the information I was telling him?
Had he somehow sensed that I was setting up a trap for him?
As I thought about what to do next, he drummed his fingers on the table and asked, “Anything else? Is that what you came to tell me at this odd hour? Well, I appreciate your loyalty to my pack and your alpha but sneaking in someone’s office and stealing confidential information is not a good habit.”
