A Hearty Dinner

Zara's POV

I chewed on my lower lip nervously as I read the text message again.

He wanted me to return early but why?

Whatever it was, what mattered to me was that he was my helping hand who saved my world from collapsing into dumps.

I took a deep breath before I typed out.

I had some work pending, so I quickly decided to go back to my office room and get it done and leave the hospital early.

With a smiling face, I exited the hospital. Though I had this feeling of thrill tinged with fear after what Xander texted me, it was a happy day for me. Xander got the best set of doctors from the world and this meant in no way would I lose my mother!

Earlier, I thought of going straight to the mansion and wait for my husband's arrival and thank him politely but a plain thank you wouldn't do justice.
